Ohio Building Trades Endorse Sherrod Brown in US Senate Race
Senator Sherrod Brown picked up the endorsement of the Ohio Building and Construction Trades while at a stop in Dayton this past Monday. Brown says unions are becoming more popular as workers across different industries look to unionize.
“I am grateful to have the building trades by my side in our fight to make sure hard work pays off for everyone,” said Brown. “Ohioans know that I will always fight for them and stand up to anyone who gets in the way, from Wall Street and special interests to presidents of both parties on bad trade deals."
Ohio Building Trades represents about 100,000 people in the construction and building trades industry.
“No matter who you are, where you live, or what job you do, Sherrod Brown understands that your work has value,” said Mike Knisley, secretary-treasurer of the Ohio State Building and Construction Trades Council. “There’s a reason Ohio tradespeople keep electing Senator Sherrod Brown because he delivers for us.”
